Created in 1977, the Luxembourg Federation of Young Business Leaders (Fédération des Jeunes Dirigeants de Luxembourg, or FJD) celebrates its 40th anniversary this year. FJD wanted to celebrate its anniversary by creating a book, which it entrusted to Maison Moderne.
With a preface by Jean-Paul Olinger, the current president, and Victor Kneip, the founding president, No Time for a Midlife Crisis traces the great moments that marked the federation.
FJD is 40 years old but has had 41 presidents, to whom the book gives the floor. The book is also the opportunity to glance into the future, as it covers the federation’s strategy over the next five years and also brings together six Luxembourg personalities from the world of culture, media and business to provide their visions on what the country will look like in 40 years.
No Time for a Midlife Crisis is illustrated with many photographs, including images from the international study tours organised annually by the federation.
The aim of FJD is to help facilitate and strengthen the leadership of companies in the economic and social domain. The book was distributed to all participants at FJD’s anniversary party which took place at the Grand Théâtre de Luxembourg on 19 May.
