Aaron Grunwald
Desk Editor - Delano

What is your role at Maison Moderne

I have two roles. I handle assignment, sub and production editing tasks for the print and digital editions of Delano magazine. Or, to paraphrase Marge Simpson, I help the team “know which nags to focus on”. At the same time, I write all sorts of articles for Delano’s current affairs, business and lifestyle sections.

What do you like most about your job?

I learn something new all the time; I like hearing when readers learned something new too.

What was your dream job when you were a child?

A DJ on the radio, but then when I tried on a student station, I discovered that I wasn’t any good.

    The passion that drives you?

    Underwater basket weaving.

What would you tell your friends to make them visit Luxembourg?

I send them a copy of Delano, of course.

Your favourite restaurant out of the 250 listed in Explorator?

It’s a tie. Parc Le’h because just about everything is pleasant surprise. I mean, how often are you really, truly excited about starter salads at a restaurant? And Orchidée, where you’ll always have a lovely meal.
