Deborah Lambolez
Managing Editor - Flydoscope

What is your role at Maison Moderne?

I am the managing editor of Flydoscope. My job is to coordinate all stages of the magazines’ production, from ordering the articles and photos right up to the finished product, checking that everything is going properly, that the magazine is ready on time, and that its quality is top.

What do you like most about your job?

Being able to work with the various departments and teams, having lots of different tasks... and all those doses of adrenalin!

What was your dream job when you were a child?

A vet. But that was a long time ago. Before I started passing out at the sight of blood and anything more or less to do with medicine. And I passed out almost every time I went to the vet.

    The passion that drives you?

Books: reading them, touching them, feeling them. I'm hypersensitive about animals and animal causes. And travelling in all directions.

What would you tell your friends to make them visit Luxembourg?

    Gromperekichelcher.

Your favourite restaurant out of the 250 listed in Explorator?

Difficult to say... My taste buds still remember the Pomme Cannelle and the Aka Cité. If not, Bella Napoli's hand-made pasta (naturally without meat) is almost as good as my grandmother's. I said “almost”!

NB: Don't go looking for my grandmother in Explorator.
