What is your role at Maison Moderne?
As suggested with a humorous wink in the title of Boost Director, I put my energy in the service of the innovation and growth of Maison Moderne. Focused on strategy and development, I have to stay in close touch with the teams to propose new ideas and contribute to the success of projects in progress, irrespective of the level of the publishing, management or agency.
What do you like most about your job?
Its multifaceted nature: being creative, overcoming difficulties, working as a team, being able to look at things in a new way, and finally the pleasure and pride of contributing to the growth of Maison Moderne.
What was your dream job when you were a child?
Explorer, photographer, writer, like Alexandra David-Neel, who managed to travel alone all the way to Tibet under the guise of a man.
The passion that drives you?
Being enthusiastic! A little easy to write, but ultimately, that is what drives me: passion and projects.
What would you tell your friends to make them visit Luxembourg?
Here’s what I write to them: Because we are here / because nature is everywhere / contemporary art is booming / because the city, listed as UNESCO world heritage, is being enriched with brave new modern architecture / because the country is integrated around the Europe of the Chinese and the Japanese / because we have discovered restaurants we’d like to have you discover, and finally because we are happy and would like to share that with you.
Your favourite restaurant out of the 250 listed in Explorator?
Impossible to make a choice among the restaurants in or near Clause where I live: Kamakura for the refinement of its cuisine, Um Plateau for the décor and its terrace with the magnificent view, Ukulele for its ultra-spicy dishes and Podenco for its authenticity.
