Editor-in-chief - Explorator / Journalist Culture & Lifestyle
What is your role at Maison Moderne?
I'm editor-in-chief of the Explorator Guide. In this capacity, I'm out testing restaurants throughout the year. In addition, I work as a journalist for many of the titles published by Maison Moderne in the fields of lifestyle, culture, gastronomy and shopping.
What do you like most about your job?
I like the diversity of the media for which I work. This keeps me on my toes, as I always have to know what's going on in Luxembourg. And I'm always meeting people who are in the news.
What was your dream job when you were a child?
I long dreamed of being an archaeologist before realising that I was more interested in the present and the lives of my contemporaries.
The passion that drives you?
I'm a social animal who gets her sustenance from culture, good products prepared with love... and I just love travelling.
What would you tell your friends to make them visit Luxembourg?
That I've been living here for 20 years and that I feel perfectly at home here. And that I know lots of good addresses I can take them to.
Your favourite restaurant out of the 250 listed in Explorator?
I've tried them all. It's so difficult to choose. I really like Cibo’s in Bettembourg where you get a warm welcome in tune with the quality of the menus offered. I can recommend the Spanish-style pork with truffle potatoes.
