The Mudam and the City of Luxembourg have been staging the Biennale Design City since 2010. The fourth time round, this year's event will be taking place from 27 April to 22 May 2016, with Maison Moderne repeating its initial 2014 collaboration in support of the event by again publishing the Design City Magazine on behalf of Mudam.
While its artistic direction, production and advertising have been entrusted to the Maison Moderne teams, its content is entirely in the hands of the BTS Media Writing students from the Diekirch Lycée, at the invitation of Anna Loporcaro, the Biennale Design City's curator.
This new issue of the Design City Magazine showcases the designers, exhibitions and other events from the Biennale's official programme with its theme "design is (not) art".
As part of Open Ateliers Day on 13 May, Maison Moderne will be opening its doors to all those interested in its publishing and design work, inviting you to find out more about what is behind creating a magazine.
