Editor-in-chief - Delano
What is your role at Maison Moderne?
I am the editor-in-chief of Delano and chief journalist at City Mag. I also contribute to Flydoscope, and am involved with various one-off projects for the Agency.
What do you like most about your job?
I enjoy meeting fascinating, passionate people with smart ideas, but also love the creative side of developing editorial concepts with the team and the joy only writers will understand of finding the "bon mot" for a headline or photo caption.
What was your dream job when you were a child?
Like many kids, when I was very young I dreamed of being a successful actor or footballer. Later, as a more realistic teen, I thought of running a record shop, being an advertising creative or a career in journalism – done two out of three.
The passion that drives you?
After all these years I can still get excited by a really good live concert or a stunning film at the cinema – but with age I have become jaded and more critical.
What would you tell your friends to make them visit Luxembourg?
If you don’t like Luxembourg, we’ll give you your money back.
Your favourite restaurant out of the 250 listed in Explorator?
At Kamakura in the Grund, the atmosphere is serene. The quail in teriyaki sauce is an autumn delight, the tempura and sushi are wonderful, but the Kobe beef is pure heaven.
