What is your role at Maison Moderne?
I am the director of the editorial department of Maison Moderne. I am therefore responsible for all our publications, which includes everything that we publish on our websites and in our magazines. I am fortunate to be able to work with Maison Moderne teams on a wide range of different projects. This means that I may be required to deal with political and economic news with the editorial teams of Paperjam and Delano, discuss architecture or modern art with Archiduc and DADADA teams and work on City or Flydoscope magazines as well as on the Paperjam Business Guide, in addition to our new projects all on the same day.
What do you like most about your job?
I have been a journalist for over 20 years. I love learning new things, gaining understanding and talking. It is a brilliant profession for anyone with a curious mind. I have a passion for magazines and love reading, constructing and reconstructing them. My role within Maison Moderne also involves coordinating cross-disciplinary projects as a team, or even with a “commando”spirit when time is of the essence. It’s very exciting!
What was your dream job when you were a child?
I dreamed of being a lot of things: a lawyer, an explorer, and even… President of France!
The passion that drives you?
I love history and particularly ancient history.
What would you tell your friends to make them visit Luxembourg?
I would tell them that it is a great place to live, the food is really good and it doesn’t rain all the time!
Your favourite restaurant out of the 1,300 listed on explorator.lu?
I love Italian food and I am fortunate to live very close to the restaurant Atelier Del Gusto.
