Head of production
What is your role at Maison Moderne?
I'm Head of production for the In-House Native Advertising Studio. I divide up the work among my team, make sure we keep to our schedules, and check that we're using the right methods so that we can concentrate on doing that little bit extra which characterises a Maison Moderne product.
What do you like most about your job?
Finding solutions making the work of my talented team easier and more efficient. Helping and advising someone to surpass himself in a project and to be proud of his result.
What was your dream job when you were a child?
Mainly a theatre actress. But also, at least for a certain time, a biologist who would have developed a cell or organism preventing the need for tests on animals. But finally, I found that having a literary streak meant a bit more fun.
The passion that drives you?
The intercultural differences – especially between Germany and France – you come up against every day (yes, I’m French, I work in Luxembourg and live in Germany). And when I have time, illustrating things. Each year I start a new children's book, a blog or even a calendar. But I'm too much of a perfectionist and I never manage to settle on one version.
What would you tell your friends to make them visit Luxembourg?
We're off to the Mudam and the Casino. And we'll go to a movie. Luxembourg is the only country where you can watch the original version of the film with subtitles – sometimes even with subtitles in both French and German. And we'll also go to a small concert – all the big ones stop in Luxembourg. I've already seen Lou Reed, Little Dragon, Justice, DJ shadow…
Your favourite restaurant out of the 250 listed in Explorator?
Not my favourite one, but the one I go to most often: the Royal Bengal for their Chicken Tikka Massala or Mixed Grill Tandoori.
